To accomplish this, we work hand-in-hand with you to maximize your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures. Depending on your situation, we will either accept assignment of your insurance coverage, or provide you with a completed form containing all the dental and office information you need to file your insurance for reimbursement. We do not accept assignment of insurance unless you are at least a part-time local resident. If you live in the Myrtle Beach area part-time, we’re happy to coordinate care and insurance coverage with your current dentist. If you have dental insurance, please complete our convenient online preregistration and submit it at least 24 hours before your scheduled visit. Doing this will save time during your initial visit, allowing us verify the details of your particular plan beforehand. If you do not preregister, it’s imperative that you bring your insurance information with you to your appointment so that we can expedite reimbursement. Also, please plan on arriving about 45 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time, as insurance companies can be slow to respond at times and we want to focus our time and attention on you.
To ensure the best care for you and all Comfort Dental patients, we do not have limited-care contracts with any insurance companies. Some limited-care contract insurance plans will not pay non-contract dentists directly, but will reimburse you quickly for any claims filed. We will know this as soon as we verify your dental insurance coverage. If your insurance plan has this clause, we will handle all the paperwork for you; but you will need to pay our office at the time services are rendered and your insurance company will reimburse you.
